Sam Raimi's next project

There's a new Sarah Michelle Gellar movie coming out called The Grudge.

My first inclination is to scream "Ring ripoff", but the similarities seem to be coincidental. Both deal with dead antagonists, both are western remakes of eastern films (In this case "the Grudge" is based on a film called "Ju-on"). Hell even this picture here, seems mighty familiar:

One neat difference is that the man behind the many Ju-on films Takashi Shimizu is actually directing the American version. Not to mention Evil Dead's own Sam Raimi producing. I'm optimistic.

Do we have a winner??

From the XM site:

"Satellite Radio For Your Computer While you work, while you play, XM PCR delivers the ultimate computer audio experience. An interactive listening experience like no other, XM PCR gives you full access to XM Radio's pure digital, crystal-clear programming and allows you to easily control and customize what you listen to.

Doesn't slow down your computer.
See everything currently playing across XM's over 120 channels.
Save song titles and artist names.
Customizable display to show your favorite channels."

Its 49.95. Much cheaper than the SkyFi or the other products they offer. And since I'll only be listening to O & A at home and at work (not in the car) this is probably the ideal choice.

They're back!!!

From the XM website

"Coming to XM: Opie & Anthony!

The wait is over! Opie & Anthony will be heard exclusively on XM's newest premium channel, High Voltage - XM 202!

Starting October 4, Opie & Anthony are BACK! Every weekday morning 6-10AM ET and 7-11AM PT, with encores throughout the day."

Its been a long time. I was initially against the idea of them going to satellite, but F that! We got our boys back! October can't come quick enough. Now all I have to do is figure out which is the cheapest method of listening to XM.

They're not what you think...

So who are they? Heinberg's saying the Young Avengers are all new characters. So there goes my "they're the New Warriors" theory. So we've never seen these guys and yet their unmasking is going to be shocking still. I'm definitely intrigued.

Ruiner's Blog? WTF?

Some poster from Joe Quesada's board has launched his own blog site. What an arse?
